Pickleball is currently America's fastest growing sport, with over 4 million players
nationwide. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Pickleball is played on a badminton sized court where two or four
players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated
polymer ball, like a whiffle ball. Next to that, pickleball offers a lot of fun and is a very social activity. These days, there are a lot of local and national tournaments and leagues. Currently, there are 2 professional/amateur tours, which are called APP and PPA. The governing body is called USA Pickleball.
